The district is well serviced through the ever-popular Stromlo High School and feeder primary schools Arawang, Chapman and Duffy. In addition, five independent schools – the Orana Steiner School, Montessori School, Islamic School of Canberra, St Jude’s and St John Vianney’s primary schools – are available, as well as a Centre for Teaching and Learning. There are also several pre-school facilities within the district, many within walking distance of the main schools.
